It takes the same force to crush a beer can as it does to crush your throat. Krav Maga choke defense is an excellent way for you to protect yourself no matter your size or that of your attacker. The strength of your back and your shoulder muscles are greater than your opponents hold, so it doesn’t take much to break their grip.
By keeping your body in motion at all times and your arms in an oblique angle you can avoid any blows straight on. 360 defense training can improve your brains response time from the average 1.5 seconds, down to an amazing .15 seconds.
Bursting is an excellent Krav Maga technique for surprise attacks. Because you don’t have time to cock your arm, the force is generated in your legs instead of your hips. This creates a 300 lb force which is more than enough to thwart an attacker.
